We have the right job for your strengths

Hello - Nice to see you here!

One of the most important questions we ask ourselves in life is, what is the right job for me?

When you come home from work in the evenings, how do you feel? Were you happy to see your colleagues? Did you laugh together? Were you able to use your strengths and celebrate your successes? Were you seen, not only as a colleague, but also as an individual, as a person?

Your job is as much a part of your life as your private life is. Mediascale fully appreciates the time you devote to your job and work; it’s the basis of our working together.

At Mediascale you plan 360° media campaigns across all channels, advise clients, work on innovative agency products, continue your education and develop into a true media all-arounder - and always with a lot of fun and cool colleagues.

We want you to come to us exactly as you are, and together we will get the best out of you. You don't have to be able to do everything. Just be open to learning everything. That is our promise to you.

Come join us in one of these areas

Our colleague Patrick (Senior Media Planner & Consultant) about his job at Mediascale:

“As a Media Planner & Consultant, I am a strategic consultant, planner and project manager all in one for my clients. All the communicative threads in campaigns come together on my desk - I'm in constant exchange with clients, creation, technical service providers and campaign management. It's this collaborative character of my job that I enjoy the most.”

Media Planning & Consulting

(Junior/Senior) Media Planner & Consultant

As a media planner and consultant, you are a true all-arounder. You independently support and advise clients from a wide range of industries in all areas of 360° media planning. You are responsible for the entire campaign - from strategy to successful implementation and realisation. And across all channels.

Communication skills, self-mastery and personal responsibility are just as much in demand here as organisational talent, analytical thinking and innovative strength.

Campaign Management

(Junior/Senior) Campaign Manager

In Campaign Management, you need one thing above all – business acumen. Campaign Managers are our power plants. They are responsible for technically setting up campaigns in various tools, tracking them, evaluating them and optimising them based on the data. Accuracy, analytical skills and technical understanding are the essential skills here. Our customers achieve good results only when our campaigns run smoothly and successfully - and that’s always our common goal.

But fun and communication with colleagues are never neglected. As a Campaign Manager, you work closely with planners, consultants various service providers and other stakeholders.

Our colleague Leonie (Junior Campaign Manager) about her job at Mediascale:

“Already on my first day as Campaign Manager I realised that I would not be bored here. My work is dynamic, there is always something new to learn and new topics to get involved in. It’s this variety that I especially like about my job.”

Our colleague Eli (Junior Content Consultant) about her job at Mediascale:

“My job is sometimes colourful and creative, sometimes analytical and strategic, sometimes communicative - and mostly all at the same time. I particularly enjoy connecting with customers, their brand DNA, their topics and their target groups to create top content that offers real added value, not only for brands but also for consumers.”

Content Creation & Consulting

(Junior/Senior) Content Creator & Consultant

As a Content Creator & Consultant, you shine above all with your creativity. Whether it's content concepts and strategies, editorial articles, podcasts, teaser texts or social media posts - you need good ideas, a visual flair and a great sense of language.

But an affinity for numbers and an analytical understanding also help in this job, because as a content creator you work at the interface between creation and media and are always in close contact with your colleagues from Campaign Management and Media Consulting. As part of this team, you'll create high-quality content and campaigns.

It's a job where you should have a wide range of interests, and always be curious.

Our benefits

Work-life balance

Satisfaction and well-being depend to a large extent on how well life and work are in harmony with each other, and how they are sensibly separated from each other. Individual needs are as different as people are. That's why flexible working hours and remote working are standard for us.

In our campus programme, we also provide you with methods to strengthen yourself mentally like demarcation between work and life, resilience, autogenic training, yoga and much more. And with our sports programme or our company bikes, we give you the opportunity to let off steam and clear your head.

We want you to feel comfortable with us.

Mobile office

Flexible working hours and mobile office have been with us since long before Corona. We trust in you and your work - no matter where you do it from. That's why we offer all our colleagues the opportunity to work from home. All you need is a quiet workspace and of course we provide you with the necessary electronic equipment.

Our "Houses of Communication" are still open every day, so that everyone can decide for themselves where they would like to work. All our locations are centrally located and easy to reach by public transport - and we are happy when you come in person.

Training

At the Mediaplus Group and at Mediascale, we give you the opportunity to develop yourself in the long term; so we provide a broad campus programme with training and further educational opportunities in various competence areas. Here you can take part in workshops and seminars to improve your professional, methodological and social skills.

And in addition to our campus programme, if you would like to further develop your skills, we offer the possibility of studying at Steinbeis University (Bachelor and Master), trainee programmes and various coaching programmes.

Onboarding & mentoring

Accompanying and supporting you is one of our cornerstones. During your starting phase, we have two onboarding programmes: The general Serviceplan onboarding, which helps you to get to know our group culture and structures, and the professionally oriented Mediaplus onboarding. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with other new coleagues from other teams and agencies once a week during the first six months at the ‘Newcomers Coffee’.

We also offer you support and encouragement after your starting phase. Our internal mentoring programme networks mid-level colleagues with managers from the group, across locations and disciplines. This programme serving the exchange, support and targeted ongoing development of committed colleagues has proven to be very enriching for both mentees and mentors.

Family

At our main location in Munich, we offer parents day care options and at other German locations we provide support in finding suitable day care for their children. To help you balance career and children, various lectures and workshops on family topics are part of our campus programme and we cooperate with providers of holiday programmes. In addition, we offer regular meetings with other parents in the Serviceplan Group as a platform for the exchange of experiences, and we further enable relaxed working in the House of Communication with parent-child rooms.

Further benefits

Of course, there are other benefits, including events and corporate discounts, as well as our Global Experience Programme, which enables our colleagues to get to know our international locations.

Your path to Mediascale

Joining Mediascale

Working student (m/f/x)

Do you enjoy creativity and teamwork? As a working student, you will support your team with a wide range of tasks in day-to-day business. You will expand your skills with us and lay an important foundation for your career.

You can work up to 20 hours a week, or full-time during the semester break. If you would like to join us as a working student, you should, above all, have a desire to work independently, be committed and show initiative. You should also be in at least your second semester and enjoy new challenges.

Apprentice (m/f/x)

Doing an apprenticeship as a management assistant (m/f/x) for marketing communication at Mediascale gives you the opportunity to actively contribute, quickly take on responsibility and experience new personal and professional growth.

Our apprentices get to know the different tasks and fields of activity of a media agency and are introduced step by step to the various aspects of cross-media media planning. By working in different teams, they gain insight into all facets of digital and classic advertising. The focus is on supporting the planning, technical implementation and evaluation of media campaigns. In addition to sociability and a willingness to learn, analytical skills and enjoyment of dealing with numbers on a daily basis are therefore also very helpful.

We offer you a training position with room for your ideas, personal responsibility and team spirit, as well as a variety of opportunities for development and further training.

Trainee (m/f/x)

Our 12-month trainee programme offers university graduates without professional experience, or people who have completed an apprenticeship or other qualified professional training, a practical introduction to media planning. Anchored in a permanent Media Planning & Consulting Team or in a Content Creation Team, our trainees go through an internal training programme lasting several weeks, during which they learn the planning of online and offline media and gain profound insights into other important areas of the agency's work (such as media buying and controlling, accounting and research).

In addition to our extensive campus programme, our trainees can attend workshops, some of which last several days. They also have the chance to spend their two Integration Weeks in other departments or agencies in our group, getting to know the Serviceplan universe even better. For example, a two-week inside view in one of our creative agencies. After successful completion of the 12-month trainee programme, our trainees can join us permanently.

Junior Level

University graduates with some previous work experience in media or media planning can start with us as juniors in the Media Planning & Consulting or Content Creation departments and build on their practical experience. Of course, it is also possible to start in other media areas, such as research.

Those who have completed a commercial apprenticeship but do not yet have any agency experience get qualified for further tasks with targeted on-the-job training as a junior in the areas of purchasing and accounting.

Our juniors go through our internal training programme lasting several weeks, and can also take advantage of our extensive campus programme for personal and professional development.

Mid-/Senior-Level

Do you already have several years of professional experience in Campaign Management, Content Creation or Media Planning & Consulting?

If so, you can of course join us at mid/senior level. Your colleagues will support you in familiarising yourself with client- and agency-specific issues. In addition, our wide-ranging training programme is open to you - as it is to all other colleagues.

DIVERSITY

Diversity as a cultural asset is synonymous with tolerance and appreciation of all people, regardless of gender, social or ethnic background, age or sexual orientation. We work in a diverse and inclusive culture and show all current and future colleagues the greatest respect. This is the only way to create something innovative, creative and diverse.

Together, we work every day to create an unbiased, tolerant and equal-opportunity workplace for all. Discrimination of any kind has no place with us.
